Job Description
FLSA Status: Nonexempt
- Safely operate an assigned school bus for transporting students from home to school and/or to and from schoolrelated events.
- Cooperates with school officials to provide safe and efficient transportation for students.
- Maintains an assigned schedule on a specific route and consults with the supervisor or dispatcher regarding suggested changes.
- Maintains acceptable standards of conduct and dress.
- Maintains courteous professional and effective working relationships with parents students school staff school officials and all levels of employees.
- Works the days and hours necessary to perform all assigned responsibilities and tasks.

- The candidate must be eighteen 18 years of age at the minimum.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Previous bus driving experience is preferred.
- Candidate must possess a current Virginia Operators License/Commercial Drivers License (CDL) properly endorsed to operate a school bus.

- Minimal travel within the City of burg.
