Job Description
The mission of One Medicals Clinical Effectiveness team is to deliver standardsetting health outcomes for our patients while reducing total cost of care.
We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist with a track record of independently delivering impactful Data Science solutions working handinhand with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Working closely with clinical and crossfunctional leaders from across the organization you will strive to understand define and help solve problems in domains that include patient safety valuebased care cardiometabolic health mental health population health clinicaloperational efficiency among others.

Key job responsibilities
Work crossfunctionally with clinical leaders to plan and execute statistical analyses to assess the impact of our clinical effectiveness patient safety and care quality initiatives.
Communicate analytical results and methods to a mixture of technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Collaborate with other Data Scientists in defining requirements establishing success metrics and delivering highquality AI / MLbased solutions.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of team processes and tooling.
A day in the life
Ownership of clinical effectiveness statistical analyses including stakeholder management.
Design and develop data pipelines that leverage generative AI models (LLMs).
Write complex queries of large healthcare datasets.
Participate in code reviews and design discussions.
Provide input to inform the teams roadmap and technology strategy.
2 years of data scientist experience
3 years of data querying languages (e.g. SQL) scripting languages (e.g. Python) or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R SAS Matlab etc. experience
3 years of machine learning/statistical modeling data analysis tools and techniques and parameters that affect their performance experience
Experience applying theoretical models in an applied environment
Experience working with healthcare data.
Masters degree or above in a quantitative field such as statistics mathematics data science business analytics economics finance engineering or computer science
Expertlevel proficiency in Python and SQL.
Experience with modern cloud infrastructure including Snowflake MLFlow Sagemaker and other AWS services.
Experience with LLM prompting techniques and evaluation.
Experience in patient safety safety analysis reliability engineering or a related field.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $125500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
