This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is looking for a professional serving role and enjoys entertaining and weddings. This is a parttime opportunity with scheduling during daytime evening midweek and weekends. This is a great role for those who are looking to expand their skills in the hospitality industry in a fast paced exciting environment.
THE LEAD BANQUET SERVERS AT RIVERS EDGE HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
- Get to know the guests; be able to comfortably answer any questions a guest may have; ensure guest satisfaction throughout meal service and event
- Oversee the event operations and service supporting the team and leading by example to promote excellent service standards at all stages
- Learn the details of menu offerings for various events
- Deliver and serve food and beverages including but not limited to meals condiments and accompaniments
- Assist with the growth and development of the team by participating in training coaching and communicating employee relations matters to the F&B Manager
- Make a difference in the lives of each and every one of our guests by directly contributing to their extraordinary experiences
- Exercise good judgment and demonstrate leadership abilities
- Drive positive change in the organization
LEAD BANQUET SERVER POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Friendly professional and customer service focused
- Positive outgoing and friendly team player
- Ability to build rapport quickly with guests
- Smart Serve Certification required
- 12 years serving experience required; experience working in events an asset
- Reliable transportation required
- Flexible availability required including availability to work evenings and weekends
