*This opportunity will be onsite in our Raleigh NC location*
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise in information security specializing in Zero Trust Architecture cloud and network engineering.
- Mentor and supervise less experienced security analysts.
- Collaborate with architects risk professionals and other specialists to build and integrate security tools and procedures.
- Handle penetration testing incident handling digital forensics continuous monitoring and intrusion detection/prevention.
- Implement tools processes and communications supporting security initiatives.
- Develop and maintain documentation for security systems and procedures.
- Evaluate select test and implement securityfocused products and services.
- Lead or participate in projects addressing security risks across technical domains.
- Operate security tools and processes ensuring consistent of established practices.
- Investigate and correct unusual security configurations and implementations.
- Continuously improve security practices and collaborate on new practices.
- Efficiently process service request tickets.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- CISSP certification or equivalent knowledge and experience.
- Experience with Zero Trust Architecture including tools such asNordLayerCloudflare OneZscalerTwingate andPalo Alto Networks
- Proficiency in securing and administering network devices and operating systems.
- Demonstrated experience in incident handling computer forensics intrusion detection systems firewalls antivirus and syslog.
Competencies:
- Work on medium to complex assignments managing costeffective of tasks.
- Follow established processes and protocols to limit errors and prevent impact on client operations.
- Meet department and personal goals with some supervision contributing to large technical projects.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external contacts influencing operational policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance coaching and training to other employees within the technical area.
- Manage technical projects delegating work and reviewing others outputs.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of relevant experience in Security Engineering Cloud or Network Security Engineering.
- Preferred: Security certifications (CISSP CISA CISM GIAC) prior Zscaler experience AWS or Azure Endpoint Security.

Position & Application Details
