Job Description
Looking for a Controls Technician to program troubleshoot and modify PLCs and HMIs for a direct hire position in the Grand Rapids MI area. ; Previous experience as a Maintenance Controls Tech Controls Electrician Field Service Tech Controls Engineer are desired. We also have similar openings in Holland Grand Rapids Muskegon and Kalamazoo.

Responsibilities of the Controls Technician:
- Layout design build wire install program and troubleshoot electrical control panels junction boxes limit switches sensors motors (AC/DC) conduit and other electrical component
- Commission new machines ;
- Wire new machines and equipment with the latest electrical controls and components.
- Program troubleshoot and modify Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs and HMIs
- Integrate troubleshoot and modify automation systems
Desired requirements of the Controls Technician:
- Experience programming troubleshooting and modifying PLCs and HMIs
- Experience wiring machines
- Able to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
- Familiar with electrical codes and standards
- Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics is a plus
- Experience programming robotics is a plus
- Able to travel 45 of the time
- Must be a US Citizen or have a Green Card
