Job Description
Montgomery County Public Schools is accepting applications for a parttime lunch/recess aide position thatis availableat Gilbert Linkous Elementary School. This is an hourly position not to exceed 5.5 hours/day/
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The lunch/recess aide maintains order among children during recess and lunch assists in the directing of the students to and from the cafeteria performs general housekeeping in the cafeteria and assists cafeteria staff with any other necessary duties. During recess the aide actively supervises students on the playground and ensures they are safe and following playground expectations while playing.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively with students and coworkers
- Have previous experience working with children
- Dependability and punctuality required
Salary:$15.00 $27.51 per hour; depending on similar experience
