The Head of Regulatory Reporting is responsible for managing the US Regulatory Reporting team directly and overseeing the development of the regulatory reporting model across the globe. Such responsibilities will include: overseeing and maintaining the timely and accurate submission of financial regulatory reporting for the US; building and managing the global operating model for financial regulatory reporting; and enhancing existing processes and systems to ensure it is efficient and well controlled. The position will lead a team of managers specialists and operational partners across the globe. The role requires a flexible cross functional leader who is willing to engage with all levels and groups across the organization. This is a leadership position in the Controllers Group that reports directly to the Corporate Controller who in turn reports to the Corporate Chief Financial Officer.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Ensure the timely and accurate preparation and submissions of all US financial regulatory reports adhering to all applicable regulations and guidelines.
  • Lead mentor and develop a team of regulatory reporting professionals ensuring their expertise and performance.
  • Stay uptodate with the latest regulatory changes and requirements and interpret implications for the banks reporting and the related operational processes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory inquiries on financial regulatory reporting both internal and external and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in regulatory reporting.
  • Work closely with other departments and jurisdictions outside the US to ensure a coordinated approach to regulatory reporting.
  • As a member of the Controllers leadership team assist with driving the strategic objectives for the group.

Skills / Experience:

  • A minimum of 10 years of leading regulatory reporting groups in the financial services/banking industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulation financial reporting and financial analysis.
  • Confident leadership presence to comfortably interact with all levels of management across business lines and with external constituents.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to proactively identify opportunities for improvement and implement value added solutions.
  • Bachelors and/or Masters degree Accounting or Finance preferred.

Salary Range:

$USD

Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay.
