ATCO Frontec is seeking Red Seal Journeyman Electricianto join our ATCO Facilities Solutions team in Calgary AB
The Journeyman Electrician will oversee the maintenance inspections modifications and installation/dismantling of electrical systems across our construction projects.
The successful candidate must be willing to work after hours and on weekends as required. Uniforms PPE are supplied.
Responsibilities:
- Installing maintaining and repairing electrical systems in new and existing construction projects.
- Install conduits and wiring through walls floors and ceilings.
- Installing and terminating electrical equipment and fixtures
- Ensure all installations repairs and maintenance meets the requirements of the appropriate codes
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing device
- Training and mentoring apprentice electricians
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Strong commercial experience in construction
- Class 5 license and clean drivers abstract is required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to read drawings and schematics
- Ability to build and work in a team environment is crucial along with a strong commitment to personal and team safety
- Willing to travel
