Job Description
The PSI Group develops software products for optimizing the flow of energy and materials for utilities and industry. As an independent software producer with more than 2300 employees PSI has been a technology leader since 1969 for process control systems that ensure sustainable energy supply mobility and production by combining AI methods with industrially proven optimization methods. The innovative industry products can be operated onpremises or in the cloud.
Tasks inspiring you
You work on control system projects especially in the areas of decisionmaking and optimization functions
You elicit requirements and clarify them in direct exchange with customers
You advise and support the product development of PSI network control systems in conception and design
You are responsible for the provision of functions for customer projects through projectspecific software development (configuration parameterization)
You analyze errors in customer systems and rectify them
You support testing and quality assurance in customer projects (IAT FAT SAT)
You advise customers and hold training courses
Qualifications that inspire us
Ideally you have a degree in electrical engineering computer science natural sciences or a comparable qualification
You have a good knowledge of electrical engineering especially in the field of energy technology
You have experience in the operational management of energy networks
Good knowledge of network calculation is an advantage
Good knowledge of C and objectoriented software development is also an advantage
You are willing to occasionally support our customers on site at home and abroad if required
You have a good command of written and spoken German and English
You are a good communicator and team player
You work independently and responsibly and show a high willingness to constantly develop yourself further
