Job Description
- Maintain a safe work environment.
- Perform maintenance tasks assigned to the various trades departments
- Perform work to prevent premature deterioration of buildings and equipment.
- Work in cooperation with inhouse departments and approved contractors
- Perform emergency work when required after hours
- Participate in all safety trainings as directed.
- Perform duties as assigned as a member of the maintenance team.
- Assist in providing the necessary safeguards to prevent loss of school property
- Use equipment including but not limited to:
a. Vehicles and trailers
b. Hand and power tools of the maintenance trades
c. Light duty maintenance care of equipment
d. Typical nonspecialized construction and repair tools - Other duties as assigned
