About the Job:
As a Project Manager you will play a key role in the delivery of projects and change initiatives for our clients in the financial and energy industry. You will work closely with project teams product owners and client stakeholders to resolve conflicts and remove barriers ensuring deliverables are ontime and meet quality standards. This role could manage a mix of Capco and client employees all working towards the ultimate goal of delivering various projects ontime and at or under budget.
What Youll Get to Do:
- Lead projects and work with various crossfunctional teams
- Coordinate with business stakeholders and development & testing leads to prioritize deliverables across the program roadmap and complete additional research to define future feature design
- Guide teams through delivery and manage scope risks and issues resolving at the lowest level and escalating as needed
- Collaborate with tech teams to build comprehensive acceptance criteria and breakdown business epics into features and user stories driving team towards the Minimal Viable Product (MVP)
- Help execute Agile delivery including team sprint & increment planning backlog management and readouts
- Drive the refinement and maintenance of the product backlog
- Quantify customer impact of feature deliveries and measure product KPIs
What Youll Bring with You:
- 3 years of experience working with cross functional teams as a product owner or project manager in an agile and/or iterative waterfall delivery environment
- Experience working on core product platforms powering digital experiences
- Experience converting business strategy to innovative products for the consumer
- Working knowledge and experience with JIRA Confluence Project and Visio
- Experience working in financial services and/or energy sectors is highly desired
- A highly entrepreneurial and flexible mindset with a desire to put all your experience and great ideas to good use
- Coordinating with crossdiscipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements deadlines and schedules.
- Submitting project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards
- Preparing status reports by gathering analyzing and summarizing relevant information
- Having the ability to create and give executivelevel presentations
- Establishing effective project timelines with correct dependencies and durations and ensuring their on schedule and within budget
- Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget
- Coordinating the development of user manuals training materials and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the clients
- Identifying and developing new opportunities with clients
- Obtaining customer acceptance of project deliverables
- Managing customer satisfaction within the project transition period
- Conducting postproject evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements
- Knowledge of and worked with ETL and replication teams
- Knowledge of and ability to write basic SQL queries
