Parts Driver
Qualifications of a Parts Driver
- Prior experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Excellent customer service skills
- Capable of heavy lifting and moving automotive parts
- This position requires the ability to work independently prioritize tasks and adhere to delivery schedules
Responsibilities of a Parts Driver
- Check in the parts order tires oil etc. and accurately receive parts on the Dealertrack system
- Invoice parts for delivery
- Load and unload parts from delivery vehicle
- Deliver parts in a timely and safe manner
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
- Keep accurate records of deliveries and customer interactions
- Put away stock tires oils etc. in the correct bin locations.
- Restock parts shelves
- Perform other duties assigned such as sweeping taking out trash bin checks & bin cleaning during down time
- Maintain a clean delivery vehicle
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance such as checking engine oil level washer fluid level and tire pressure.
