The Role:
The VIP Prep Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking all food items for the VIP lounge and box seat areas during events.
Responsibilities:
Organize and prioritize preparation of food items
Prepare food according to standardized recipes
Ensure proper portion arrangement and food garnish
Coordinate food preparation with other kitchen staff
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and proper sanitation
Maintain food display and presentation standards
Ensure safe operation of kitchen equipment and appliances
Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through work area and reporting any issues encountered
Ensure proper rotation of all food items including FIFO (first in first out)
Ensure all food items are stored in proper containers and at proper storage and holding temperatures
Keep all work areas clean and free of debris
Follow all safety and sanitation policies
Operate kitchen equipment including ovens broilers grills dishwashing equipment etc.
Perform all opening and closing duties
Assist other employees as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required:
Knowledge of highvolume kitchen operations
Knowledge of food preparation food spoilage and proper food storage
Knowledge of kitchen sanitation
Ability to use all kitchen equipment safely
Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fastpaced environment
Ability to follow instructions and work as a team
Ability to work late hours
Strong attention to detail
Preferred:
Three or more years of experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment
Experience in a live music environment
Physical Demands/Working Environment:
Working environment is fastpaced and often loud
Position requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feet
Must be able to lift or move up to 150 lbs using proper lifting techniques
Must be able to work in extreme heat

The expected compensation for this position is:
