Job Description
Prime Video (PV) offers customers the greatest choice in what to watch including Amazon Original hits like The Boys and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel 3P Channel subscriptions like Showtime and AMC live events like Thursday Night Football and a large catalog of transactional (rent or buy) content. The Prime Video team comprises individuals who are all obsessively focused on one mission: to give consumers the worlds bestinclass digital video customer experience. Prime Video delivers an entertainment destination unlike any otherfast reliable personal effortless and delightful.
PV is looking for a Program Manager to lead projects related to customer pricing and studio costing and the royalties payment logic and system. This would include building the program roadmap for costing and pricing working with different engineering and product managers to manage the roadmap for pricing and costing solutions and working with data scientists to execute A/B testing experiments. Pricing and costing are key levers within our business to improve revenue and profitability and our accuracy of reporting to our studio partners is a key way for them to understand business performance and make improvements. This role will oversee the Prime Video Marketplace pricing and costing program which includes overall strategy analysis reporting conducting extensive audits per studio and at ASIN grain and making recommendations for step change improvements across multiple stakeholders. This is an influential role that will identify and close operational gaps enhance customer experience with pricing create SOPs for internal users and automate workflows. The Program Manager must be comfortable working crossfunctionally with internal clients such as tech product teams legal finance accounting and content acquisition managers and also engage with select third party studio partners.
Success in this role will include pricing accuracy improvements workflow automation for all pricing and costing use cases and making data driven decisions that improve our customer acquisition retention and our bottom line. We are looking for a motivated selfstarter that can be hands on in a fast paced ambiguous environment with limited supervision. You are a fast learner who can quickly absorb the nuances of different tech systems behavior and manual workflows. You will be analytical in your decision making with the demonstrated ability to drive issues to completion and have a passion for supplying clients with data driven recommendations. This position also involves regular communication with stakeholders and management on status risks and strategy. Listening writing and analytics skills are essential to this role.
Key job responsibilities
Partner with internal teams to understand knowledge gaps and create SOPs and innovate to develop best practices and processes within the pricing and costing space
Develop roadmap for pricing and costing for the marketplace business
Partner with account management teams to identify areas of opportunity to improve profitability by studio and content type
Conduct proactive audits and represent the Prime Video Marketplace business to external auditors
Report on weekly and monthly KPIs as well as projects to senior leadership
Drive continuous improvement projects in installation and maintenance processes
Identify through analysis and execute on opportunities to improve internal user and thirdparty experience and performance
Write business requirements for technical teams on feature improvements.
Write OP1 and OP2 roadmap docs for costing and pricing and present to product and tech teams.
3 years of program or project management experience
3 years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience working cross functionally with tech and nontech teams
3 years of driving end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership experience
3 years of driving process improvements experience
Experience in stakeholder management dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
Experience building processes project management and schedules
Experience in pricing costing accounting finance or a related field

The base pay for this position ranges from $66800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142800/year in our highest geographic market.
