Job Description
KDAF/CW33 is looking for their next Post Production Editor with an Always Fun attitude! If you thrive in a fastpaced entrepreneurial environment and are eager to craft creative highimpact shows this role is for you.
KDAF is a flagship station of Nexstar Media Group the largest local broadcasting network in the United States operating 200 television stations nationwide. Since 1996 Nexstar has set the standard in media and KDAF benefits from unparalleled market presence.
Requirements and Skills:
- Adobe Creative Suite experience heavy emphasis on Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Experienced in producing both short and longform broadcastquality content.
- Has familiarity with closed captioning ENPS Daybook and Bit Central.
- Perform other duties such as technical direct studio shoots studio camera operator and audio.
Qualifications and Expectations:
- Bachelors degree in Communications or related field preferred.
- Three plus 3 years experience as a postproduction editor.
- Must be proficient with operation of studio equipment.
- Must be detailoriented and be able to multitask in a fastpaced collaborative team environment.
- Applicant should have the drive to learn and advance skills.
- Working knowledge of common business software applications particularly Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook.
- Recognize that overtime hours may occur as situations arise.
