Job Description
We are athriving familyowned dealership seeking an experienced Controller (CFO) tolead our financial operations and join our team. Based at our Franchised storein northern Louisiana we also operate another satellite used car locationwithin 20 minutes of our franchised dealership.
***Priorexperience in a dealership as office manager Comptroller Controller or CFO required for consideration.***
YourResponsibility:
- Oversee allfinancial operations including billing accounts receivable (A/R) accountspayable (A/P) general ledger (GL) cost accounting inventory accounting andrevenue recognition.
- Prepare anddeliver accurate timely monthly financial statements.
- Leadmonthend and yearend close processes with precision.
- Ensurecompliance with local state and federal reporting requirements including taxfilings.
- Conductfinancial analysis forecasting and budgeting to drive informeddecisionmaking.
- Maintainquality control over financial transactions and reporting.
- Superviseand mentor our 5person accounting team fostering collaboration andefficiency.
Requirements
What YouBring:
- Experiencewith Reynolds/Reynolds or other automotive software
- Provenexpertise in accounting principles.
- Strongskills in budgeting forecasting and cash management.
- Deepunderstanding of debits/credits IFRS and technical accounting standards.
- Sharpfinancial acumen and the ability to analyze complex data.
- Leadershipexperience managing an accounting team with a handson approach.
- Proficiencyin regulatory compliance and reporting.
