Job Summary:The Elementary Classroom Teacher is responsible for creating a nurturing inclusive and engaging learning environment that fosters academic social and emotional growth. The teacher will plan and implement instruction in core subject areas (English Language Arts Math Science Social Studies) aligned to New Hampshire State Standards and district curricula while meeting the diverse needs of all Duties and Responsibilities:Plan and deliver highquality instruction in all core subjects following the NH state standards and district a safe and supportive classroom community that promotes student responsibility cooperation and instruction to meet the learning needs of all students including English Learners students with disabilities and advanced a variety of instructional strategies including guided reading math manipulatives small group instruction and technology and maintain lesson plans that support the development of foundational skills and critical and interpret assessments to inform instruction and track student regularly with families regarding student growth classroom activities and school with gradelevel teams special educators and support in schoolbased professional development and contribute to a culture of continuous accurate and complete records including grades attendance and behavior school and district policies procedures and :Required:Bachelors degree in Elementary Education or related fieldValid New Hampshire Educator License in Elementary Education (K6 or K8 depending on district grade levels)Understanding of child development and best instructional practices for elementary learnersStrong classroom management and organizational skillsAbility to build positive relationships with students staff and familiesPreferred:Experience in an elementary classroom settingFamiliarity with Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and MultiTiered System of Supports (MTSS)Experience with curriculum programs such as Fundations Bridges Math FOSS Science or similarProficiency with educational technology (Google Workspace Seesaw interactive whiteboards etc.)Working Conditions:Classroombased instruction with occasional duties beyond the classroom (e.g. recess lunch bus duty)Participation in evening family engagement events or conferencesWe offier Health dental life STD FSA vision retirement PTO and PD
