Description

Use your strong organizational skills and language skills to support local community members in this new role! Join our team as Family Support Staff to assist with the Family Welcome Center in Quincy. The Family Welcome Center (FWC) supports newly arriving individuals and families from Haiti. Priority will be given to individuals who are fluent in English AND Haitian Creole Spanish or Portuguese.


What You Will Be Doing to Make a Difference:

  • Assist in creating a warm and welcoming environment to support newly arriving children and families
  • Complete Intake Assessments
  • Family and parent support
  • Case management

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree ORrelevant experience providing case management services and support to families required
  • Experience with youth and families new to the United States
  • Experience with educational systems preferred
  • Strong Computer Skills
  • Language capacity is a priority including English and Haitian Creole Spanish or Portuguese
