MondayThursday 8am5pm (day) 0.9 36hrs/week
MonThurs 8am5pm (day); 4pm1am (evening); 12am9am (night)
FriSun 8am8pm (day); 8pm8am (night)
Job Description Summary:
Job Description:
- Participates with the interdisciplinary team in specialized patient care. Cares for patient assignment as delegated.
- Effectively establishes therapeutic relationships with patients and families on the unit including but not limited to effective communication and education.
- Provides traumainformed care utilizes positive reinforcement and operates within a therapeutic relationship maintains staff and patient safety through deescalation limit setting and physical interventions
- Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans.
- Acts as a resource to unit staff regarding diagnoses behavior plans relationship based care protective equipment crisis management.
Education Requirement:
- Bachelors Degree inPsychology Social Work or related field or equivalent experience required
- Masters Degree preferred.
Licensure Requirement:

Certifications:
- CPR certified (American Heart Association CPR for Family and Friends) course or Health Care Provider course or Red Cross equivalent or completion after hire required.
- Completion of organization specific crisis management training required.
Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication interpersonal and problemsolving skills.
Experience:
One year of hospital experience in a mental health role required.
