Position Overview
The Director of Sales & Retail Operations is responsible for overseeing and driving the overall sales performance operational efficiencies and strategic direction of the region sales team and retail operations division. The Director is accountable for leading a crossfunctional team to achieve regional EBITDA and revenue goals boost productivity and create growth opportunities for both internal and external customers. This role also ensures the effective of operations to enhance sales minimize expenses and meet profit and budget objectives. Additionally the Director collaborates with customers to improve their experience with C&S supporting their relevance within the industry and financial health as Independent Retailers.

- Develops and maintains relationships with key customers to grow the purchase concentration ratio all while maintaining customer advocacy
- Leads crossfunctional teams to enhance customer experience and establishes key performance indicators through ongoing customer education
- Provide leadership to the organization by aligning overall KPIs to achieve shortterm and longterm business objectives
- Ensures the development and growth of the sales team by utilizing handson training and continuing educational services offered both internally and externally
- Exceeds EBITDA projections and optimizes incremental revenue growth through effective operating cost management and labor controls
- Supports customers business strategy by providing and maintaining the highest level of service and the Companys solutions to enable growth for both the customer and the Company
- Lead crossfunctional process improvement teams to identify recommend and implement changes to enhance retail operations
- Travel Required

- Proven sales leadership experience including implementation and ongoing management of goal setting accountability metrics and pipeline management; ability to communicate present and influence multiple levels within an organization
