Arrowleaf is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Residential Specialist to support our residential programs serving individuals with serious mental illness and complex needs. This position is responsible for clinical screening assessment and treatment planning for residents as well as providing handson support and guidance within the residential environment. This role plays a key part in preventative behavior planning working proactively to address resident needs and reduce crisis response.

Job Title:Residential Specialist
Home Office:Vienna IL; Cairo; IL Anna IL; or Karnak IL. Location is dependent on office space availability and proximity to home location.

Program(s):830 Supervised Residential: The Supervised ResidentialProgram provides adults living with substantial levels of mental illness or disability with 24/7 services through recoveryoriented community residentialfacilities.
Immediate Supervisor:Senior Program Director/RN
Hours of Work:Fulltime 40 hours/week
OnCall Rotation: One week per month (Monday 8:00 AM Monday 8:00 AM)
Residential Specialist Minimum Qualifications: Masters Degree in Human Services Social Work Counseling Psychology or a related field; Qualifies as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP). Minimum of five years of experience working in a residential setting with individuals with serious mental illness (preferred).
Residential SpecialistSkills & Knowledge: Strong understanding of behavioral health diagnoses functional limitations and evidencebased interventions; demonstrated initiative professionalism and the ability to work independently and as part of a team; competence and confidence in engaging residents in both structured group and informal home settings; excellent communication and problemsolving skills; willingness to participate in oncall rotation and respond to urgent program needs.
Residential Specialist job duties include but not limited to
Conduct initial clinical screenings for prospective residents to ensure appropriate placement and identify support needs.
Complete and reassess IMCANS and other required clinical assessments in accordance with timelines and guidelines.
Collaborate with the Residential Program Coordinator to develop and revise individualized treatment plans and behavior support plans.
Lead preventative behavior planning efforts focusing on early intervention and supportive strategies to promote resident stability and success.
Work handson in both group and oneonone residential settings to model and coach appropriate behavioral interventions.
Serve as a key point of support for resident transitions crises and clinical concerns working collaboratively with program leadership.
Participate in the oncall rotation one week per month to provide clinical guidance and crisis support to residential staff.
Maintain uptodate and accurate clinical documentation including service notes treatment plans and assessments.
Promote a traumainformed personcentered approach in all aspects of service delivery.
