General Statement:Provide support to student achievement in the area of continued education. With specific focus on instructional and mentoring practices that identify sustained effective evidencebased practices to strengthen services and outcomes for Multilingual learners. This includes maintaining a positive learning environment where all students are encouraged to participate ask questions and generally receive the individual attention they deserve to effectively learn the material in a lesson plan.
Responsibilities:
- Plans and implements problem based learning units.
- Possesses knowledge and skills in differentiating learning processes content and assessments.
- Motivates learners.
- Collaborates and participates in development of programs that support the learning needs of all students.
- Demonstrates commitment to establishing/maintaining frequent communication with parents/guardians.
- Interest in and knowledge of history geography civics and government.
- Ability to adapt to the various ages within an elementary school setting.
- Proficient in technological applications and presentation.
- Possesses the ability to establish community partnerships that will support student learning.
- Performs related work as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Knowledge of Middle School curriculum including differentiated instruction.
- Knowledge of curriculum design lesson planning and pedagogy experience preferred.
- Experience in innovative problem based instruction preferred.
- Education:
- Bachelor degree required.
