Position Summary

As the distribution center Operations Supervisor on 1st shift you will be responsible for leading a team of nonexempt employees in CVS Healths distribution facility. This includes planning organizing directing controlling and supervising the daily activities of an assigned shift and functional area to achieve performance goals and metrics within the distribution center. Additionally your responsibilities will include order selection replenishment loading and shipping of store orders. As the distribution center Operations Supervisor you are also responsible for directing workflow for warehouse employees and leading their team to meet and exceed daily targets. They also manages day to day work operations and evaluates work performance.

** Availability to work 3rd shift starting at 11:00PM Onsite at Lumberton NJ from MondayFriday starting 11:00PM with some additional flexibility is required**

Will train the first month on 1st shift 7am to 3pm EST

Primary Responsibilities

• Hiring onboarding training scheduling and assigning work to new hires.
• Ensuring employees have the necessary equipment materials and documents to ensure successful completion of tasks.
• Monitoring and adjusting resources to achieve the daily production and delivery goals
• Balancing workloads by taking readings throughout the day to achieve the appropriate level of volume by the projected time of completion.
• Monitoring the work performance of each employee to ensure that quality and quantity expectations are met or exceeded.
• Conducting staff meetings and verifying that daily worksheets are completed accurately and submitted on a timely basis.
• Providing ongoing training and retraining of employees to ensure that they are prepared to meet or exceed the productivity standards for their function; Put People First and set colleagues up for success.
• Utilizing a variety or reports summaries and procedures to project workload and resolve problems that arise during the workday.
• Work overtime and/or occasional small weekend shifts as needed.
• Ability to stand and walk around for most of the shift.

• Utilizing various systems and computer programs to carry out a multitude of responsibilities related to operations production and administrative programs processes and tasks.

Required Qualifications

• 2 years in a manufacturing or distribution center environment.
• 1 years in a lead supervisory or managerial role
• Availability to work 3rd shift starting at 11:00PM

Preferred Qualifications

• Would like a candidate with Automation experience
• 2 years in a manufacturing or distribution center environment
• 2 years in a supervisory role OR 1 years in a supervisory or lead role in a manufacturing or distribution center environment

Education

• Verifiable High School diploma or GED

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual fulltime salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience education geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus commission or shortterm incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
