Driven by Enovis desire to create innovative products that help improve quality of life and restore movement to those suffering from degenerative arthritis Enovis Surgical provides orthopedic surgeons with modern patientfocused solutions for total joint arthroplasty. Partnerships with key surgeon consultants help provide advanced and proprietary patented solutions including EMPOWR 3D Knee the only dualpivot knee system on the market and AltiVate Reverse Shoulder a marketleading system based on the design principles of the RSP Shoulder which has demonstrated excellent clinical outcomes at 10 years.
Enovis Surgical offers surgeons and their patients a full range of primary and revision implants for hip knee shoulder and elbow reconstructive joint surgeries in addition to the tools and digital health technology needed in todays changing healthcare environment.
Job Title/High Level Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Summer Intern to join our Manufacturing and Operations team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain handson experience in the fastpaced and exciting field of Medical Device Orthopedics. The selected candidate will work closely with experienced professionals contributing to the manufacturing and operational processes that drive the production of cuttingedge orthopedic devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Optimization: Collaborate with the Manufacturing team to identify areas for process improvement efficiency enhancements and cost reduction.
- Quality Assurance: Assist in ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal quality standards through participation in quality control activities.
- Production Support: Contribute to daytoday manufacturing operations including monitoring production metrics troubleshooting issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Data Analysis: Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends assess performance and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Collaboration: Work crossfunctionally with various departments including R&D Engineering and Quality Assurance to facilitate seamless communication and coordination.
- Documentation: Assist in maintaining accurate and uptodate documentation related to manufacturing processes ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Minimum Basic Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate program (Engineering Operations Management Industrial Engineering etc..
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
