SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday / Days Only
SALARY: $169855 to $248230

- Seeking a Staff Pediatrician to join our clients Department of Pediatrics. The incumbent will deliver comprehensive quality patient care including diagnostic and therapeutic interventions according to standards of practice to children and adolescents.
- The Pediatrician will provide health care in collaboration with other providers in the department.
- The incumbent may refer patients to consultants for confirmation of diagnosis and treatment procedures as appropriate.
- The incumbent will also participate in departmental quality improvement and peer review activities.
- The levels of employees engagement and satisfaction in this department are above national average.
- Although clinical experience is preferable recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate of an accredited school of medicine
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
- Valid State of Connecticut licensure and have or be eligible to obtain DEA and state narcotic registration
- Willing and able to deliver high quality patient care in an efficient manner
- Willing and able to provide culturally competent care to a diverse patient population with complex needs in a collaborative environment.
- Track record of proven success communicating effectively with patients peers and other stakeholders both orally and in writing.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain timely thorough and accurate written clinical documentation
- Able to make evidencebased clinical decisions and comply with department and organizational quality measures
- Comfortable using electronic health record and other computer systems
- Possess a resourceful problemsolving attitude and an appropriate level of accountability
