Job Title: MD DNB Medicine Consultant
Location: Hisar Haryana
Overview:
The MD DNB Medicine Consultant plays a vital role in delivering highquality medical care in the field of internal medicine. This position is crucial for diagnosing treating and managing a wide array of health conditions. As a key member of the healthcare team the consultant is expected to provide comprehensive care and exhibit a deep understanding of various medical disciplines. They will work with patients to establish treatment plans monitor progress and ensure effective communication with both the patient and their families. The consultant will also contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols while ensuring adherence to medical best practices. In addition to direct patient care the role emphasizes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams further enhancing the departments capability to provide exemplary services. The MD DNB Medicine Consultant will also engage in teaching and training junior medical staff ensuring the ongoing education and professional development within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress over time.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health conditions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Perform necessary medical procedures and administer treatments.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives as required.
- Update and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations.
- Stay current with advancements in medical knowledge and practices.
- Attend and participate in departmental meetings and case discussions.
- Guide and mentor junior doctors and medical staff.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the department.
- Ensure adherence to safety and compliance standards.
- Engage in continuing medical education for professional development.
Required Qualifications:
- MD/DNB in Internal Medicine or equivalent recognized qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years of postgraduate experience in a clinical setting.
- Valid medical license to practice in India.
- Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in internal medicine.
- Excellent diagnostic and patient management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in the use of electronic health record systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Strong ethical and professional standards in practice.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism.
- Experience in clinical teaching or mentoring preferred.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
- Research experience in the field of medicine is an advantage.
