Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of laparoscopic surgeries including cholecystectomies hernia repairs and appendectomies.

- Deliver preoperative and postoperative care to enhance recovery and address any complications.
- Maintain detailed surgical records and documentation following each procedure.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists to ensure optimal patient care during surgery.
- Engage in continuous medical education to remain updated with the latest surgical techniques and technology.
- Participate in departmental meetings to discuss cases outcomes and advancements in laparoscopic surgery.
- Conduct research to contribute to the development of best practices in laparoscopic surgical procedures.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance protocols within the surgical unit.
- Mentor and train junior surgical staff and residents in laparoscopic techniques.
- Effectively communicate with patients regarding surgical options risks and benefits.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures to uphold safety and compliance standards.
- Manage complications arising during and postsurgery with appropriate interventions.
- Work closely with nursing staff to coordinate care and ensure a seamless patient experience.
- Participate in community outreach programs to promote awareness of laparoscopic surgery.
Required Qualifications
- MBBS degree from a recognized institution.
- MS in General Surgery from a reputed medical college.
- DNB in General Surgery or equivalent qualifications.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in general surgery with a significant focus on laparoscopic procedures.
- Valid medical license to practice in India.
- Proven expertise in performing a wide range of laparoscopic surgeries.
- Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and equipment.
- Experience in managing surgical wards and intensive care units.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction.
