Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop memory circuits including SRAM DRAM and Flash technologies.
- Perform comprehensive simulations and validation of memory designs.
- Conduct timing analysis and optimization for highspeed memory operation.
- Create and maintain detailed design documentation and specifications.
- Collaborate with layout engineers to ensure design integrity and manufacturability.
- Develop test plans and methodologies for memory characterizations.
- Participate in silicon bringup and validation processes.
- Analyze test results and troubleshoot memory design issues.
- Implement power optimizations at the circuit level.
- Utilize advanced EDA tools for simulation and design verification.
- Engage in design reviews with crossfunctional teams.
- Stay current with memory technology advancements and market trends.
- Assist in the development of design guidelines and best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical support.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or related field.
- 47 years of experience in memory design or related roles.
- Proficiency in Verilog or VHDL for hardware description.
- Familiarity with SPICE tools for circuit simulation.
- Strong understanding of digital and analog circuit design principles.
- Experience with timing closure and optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of DFT (Design for Test) methodologies.
- Proficiency in EDA tools such as Cadence or Synopsys.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex design issues.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with memory characterization and validation is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teams.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- Knowledge of systemonchip (SoC) design is a plus.
