CFO

Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a distinguished group of restaurants based in the Western Cape. This is a senior leadership role requiring a strategic thinker with a strong financial background and proven experience within the hospitality and retail sectors including hotels and restaurants.

Minimum Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Finance Accounting or similar field (CIMA CA(SA) or equivalent preferred)
  

• Minimum of 5 10 years of financial management experience
  

• Essential: Previous experience in hospitality hotels restaurants or related industries
  

• Strong leadership and strategic planning abilities
  

• Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools
  

• Excellent understanding of business financials taxation and labour regulations
  

• High attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
  

• Proven ability to manage teams and build financial systems from the ground up
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all financial aspects of the business
  

• Develop implement and maintain effective financial strategies and business plans
  

• Manage and oversee cash flow planning forecasting and financial reporting
  

• Compile and present management accounts to stakeholders
  

• Ensure timely and accurate submission of VAT UIF and statutory requirements
  

• Manage full payroll process in compliance with labour laws
  

• Oversee creditors debtors and all invoicing processes
  

• Implement and monitor strong internal controls
  

• Drive financial efficiency and identify costsaving opportunities
  

• Liaise with auditors tax consultants and regulatory bodies
  

• Provide strategic financial insights to support business growth and operational decisions
