JOB DESCRIPTION: Virtual Assistant Administrative and Compliance Support Purpose:
Client : NDIS/Healtcare
VA Rate : $8 per hour
To start at 30hrs per week (may transition to Full time based on VA Performance)
The position is responsible for providing a range of timely and accurate administrative support.
This position is responsible for supporting the team to help them stay organized and complete tasks that allow them to focus on more advanced responsibilities. The role is integral to the success of the group.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Review the NDIS requirements submitted by applicants and onboard clients
Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
Schedule and coordinate staff and other meetings
Answers emails in a timely manner
Answer screen and forward incoming phone calls in a courteous and efficient manner using VoIP or similar technologies.
Provide basic and accurate information via phone/email.
Prepare communications such as memos emails invoices reports and other correspondence
Write and edit documents from letters to reports and instructional documents
Create and maintain filing systems
Ensure all details and information that is entered in the database is current and accurate
Respond to service enquiries and requests
Communicate and liaise with key stakeholders services users families staff and advocates
Requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum 12yrs relevant experience as VA Admin
Knowledge of the NDIS industry is preferred; Healthcare Industry experience will be considered
Experience in using Shiftcare is a MUST. Similar software experience may be considered
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Great attention to details
Highly organized with good attention to detail
Experience in establishing and maintaining effective administrative systems and processes
Ability to work autonomously and as a team member
