Job Description
The Department of Strategic Communication is creating a pool of qualified candidates for parttime lecturer positions for openings during the 202425 academic year. Possible areas may include but are not limited to courses in: Public Relations Corporate Communication Event Management Advertising Media Planning Visualization/Graphic Design and Research Methods.
Terminal degree (Ph.D. M.F.A. or M.B.A. or nonterminal masters degree preferred. Applicants with an undergraduate degree in a public relations corporate communication or advertisingrelated area of strategic communication and substantial industry experience may also be considered. We prioritize candidates who have a record of successful college teaching and who share our commitment to professional preparation within the context of an interdisciplinary and immersive liberal arts education. A wide variety of specialties will be considered including but not limited to strategic planning account management event/experiential marketing art direction/graphic design and audience/media research.

Parttime or adjunct bargaining unit employees are all parttime faculty employed by Ithaca College at its Ithaca New York campus including but not limited to faculty in the titles of Lecturer or Adjunct.
