Tutors are dedicated to helping grade school students reach their learning goals whether passing a class preparing for an exam or simply gaining a deeper understanding of a subject. By taking the time to get to know their students on a personal level tutors can identify their strengths and weaknesses determine their preferred learning styles and establish academic goals. Through collaborative problemsolving and thoughtprovoking questions tutors can guide students toward the correct answers while explaining the underlying logic behind each problem. Additionally tutors can provide progress reports to parents or guardians and suggest additional support as needed. With the assistance of a tutor students can feel more confident and accomplished in their academic pursuits.
