Key job responsibilities
As a Software Development Engineer (SDE) within the Specialist Engineering team you will design engineer and deliver software with considerable impact for AWS customers. We are looking for world class software development engineers to deliver software focused on helping jump start customers cloud workloads. You will work with product management customers and your software development team to deliver software assets that drives media and games innovation on AWS.
At Amazon we hire software engineers who work efficiently solve complex and ambiguous problems and deliver new software with limited guidance. You will get to make technical and business tradeoffs based on your understanding of the business impact of your systems. As a developer on our team youll own code endtoend from design to development and work closely with senior technical leaders within the team.

3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
