As a ServiceAdvisor you will be the interface between the customer and technician estimate the cost and time needed to do repairs check on work/update customers throughout the day obtain customer approval to do additional work than originally requested up arrival and explain the work performed.
Schedule and Compensation
- Fulltime schedule MondayFriday during our hours of operation and aSaturday rotation. No Sundays!
- Compensation potential is in the $60000 $95000 range based on experience level
A typical day in the life of a Hoselton Service Advisor (ANSWERING PHONES & MAKE STATUS CALLS IN BETWEEN)
- Greet the customer with a warm welcome
- Write the customer up
- Send the vehicle to the technician
- Check on the vehicle and keep the customer updated
- Check the customer out and thank them for their business

The Service Advisor is responsible for scheduling service work and selling additional service to customers at dealership gross profit dollars/RO and customer satisfaction standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Service Advisor is accountable for performing the duties and responsibilities described below. The list however is not necessarily an exhaustive description of the duties and responsibilities associated with the job.
- Ensuring exceptional customer service to all Hoselton guests;
- Greeting customers scheduling service appointments and receiving vehicle information;
- Listening to requests of the service desired and clearly explaining information on the repair order;
- Interpreting customer concerns/comments so that the technician will diagnose problems correctly;
- Referring the technician to the customer and/or testdriving the vehicle to confirm source(s) of service repairs;
- Translating the technicians findings which may be very complex into language the customer will understand;
- Estimating the cost and time needed to do the repair considering the customers schedule;
- Periodically checking on the progress of the vehicle and contacting the customer when technicians discover additional problems;
- Obtaining customer approval to do additional work explaining the work performed and the charges being billed;
- Following up to ensure customers are scheduled for special order parts installation
- Closing out repair orders in a timely manner; and
- Resolving all guest complaints in an efficient and positive manner.

- Must be at least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to pass a drug test

WORK SCHEDULE
Full time employees are regularly scheduled for 40 hours within the confines of our operating hours. Overtime as needed and approved by the manager. All employees are required to take meal breaks in accordance with New York state law.
