Amazon Talent Acquisition (TA) provides recruiting support globally for Amazon Web Services (AWS); Advertising IMDb Grand Challenge (AIGC); Devices & Services (D&S); Artificial General Intelligence (AGI); and Amazon Entertainment (AE) business lines collectively known as AADA TA for the Amazon family of businesses globally.

We are looking for a Principal Program Manager to join our team in supporting the office of the VP developing and executing recruiting strategies across the portfolio of businesses. The ideal candidate for this role will thrive in a fast paced highly collaborative environment where teamwork and innovation are the keys to success. You will work and influence internal and external stakeholders manage cross functional programs and be able to help prioritize amidst ambitious goals and timelines.

Key job responsibilities
The Principal PM owns critical projects that impact the global organization and ensuring strategic initiatives are driven to completion. In this role the Principal PM will partner with the TA leadership team and a wide array of Amazon stakeholders to program manage initiatives manage stakeholder communications and deliver results. You will be expected to influence and drive decisions and work with other senior leaders across the broader Amazon PXT organizations.

A day in the life
You will work closely with program managers on the team as well as recruiting leaders recruiters and hiring leaders in the AADA TA business to design new processes transform existing workflows and experiment with ways to best engage millions of candidates every year. Youll be a trusted resource for AWS TA delivery teams and the business and will lead a team of innovative program managers to extend impact across the org. Youll be empowered to think big and exercise bold ownership over your solutions.

Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
10 years experience in a project/program management or related role
Experience leading crossfunctional projects with expertise in leading without authority to achieve results
Experience leading process optimization transformation leveraging process mapping tools and systems
Experience hiring and developing program/project management professionals


Experience working in a global role with stakeholders from multiple regions
Experience identifying and resolving complex issues and assuming leadership roles in unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances
Direct experience implementing or working with enterprise recruiting technology solutions including candidate relationship management systems applicant tracking systems and related sourcing tools
Successful record of building improving and running operational business processes globally ability to drive program effectiveness and high levels of customer satisfaction
Demonstrated program ownership and consistent delivery on commitments
Great organizational skills with exceptional follow through and attention to detail
Wellhoned analytical skills comfortable working with data and developing insights from it experience establishing and tracking program metrics and experience with experimental design
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Ability to interface with all levels of the organization specific strength in influencing decision makers and managing expectations

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $134800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $222800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
