Senior Physiotherapist
The Duchy Hospital
15 Hours & Permanent
Salary: Up to 38200.00 FTE per year (depending on level of experience training and qualification)
We have an opportunity for a Senior Physiotherapist to join their team of staff in thePhysiotherapy department.
This is a Part time role for 15 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern.
Duties of this role include:
- Develop individualised treatment plans using a variety of physiotherapy techniques to optimise recovery function and independence.
- Monitor patient progress and adapt interventions accordingly ensuring high standards of clinical care.
- Manage a designated caseload efficiently prioritising based on clinical urgency and discharge planning needs.
- Act as a point of contact for junior physiotherapists therapy assistants and students offering guidance and informal supervision.
- Maintain accurate timely and professional clinical records in line with HCPC CSP and local policy.
- Adhere to all governance procedures including health and safety infection prevention and safeguarding.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- HCPCregistered Physiotherapist.
- Solid postregistration experience across a range of clinical areas.
- Strong clinical reasoning and decisionmaking skills.
- Excellent communication organisational and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to team working and service improvement.
