Summary
This position is responsible all aspects of Continual Tube Mill operation including Safety Quality Production and Basic Maintenance.
Job Description:
- Responsible for setup and operation of welded tube mill.
- Responsible for quality production s and basic maintenance.
- Adjust basic tooling and holding fixtures on machines.
- Perform visual inspection of parts to identify defects burrs and damage.
- Loading and unloading of assigned machine(s).
- Preparation of raw materials.
- Observation of machine operation to detect part defects or machine malfunction and report any issues to Team Leader/Supervisor.
- Responsible for basic housekeeping and safety of work area.
Qualification Summary
- One year previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Experience with tools used in changeover.
- Experience with use of precision measuring equipment (Gauges Calipers and Micrometers)
- Demonstrated ability to follow basic work instructions.
- Must possess basic data entry and computer skills.
- Demonstrated ability to perform basic math.
- Demonstrate proficient manual dexterity and hand eye coordination.
- Ability to see details at close range to inspect for part conformity and defects.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time operating machines.
- Ability to bend stretch and twist.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
Educational Requirements Needed to Perform the Duties of the Job:
- High School Degree or Equivalent
Other Qualifications Needed to Perform the Duties of the Job
- Teamworking Skills
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to work 2nd shift MThr 8p6a 410hr shifts weekly
