Job Description
Zeta Marketing Platform (ZMP) which is a machine learning/AI powered customer acquisition and CRM multitenant platform. The backend developer will work on the core machine learning recommendation engine as well as a highly distributed event pipeline and stack that gets many thousands of events per second. As a senior member of the Software Engineering team you will join the group responsible for designing developing and owning the distributed systems CRM platform for Zeta. You will collaborate youre your fellow Engineers and Product Managers to develop a roadmap and subsequent projects to build the next generation comprehensive multichannel marketing solution that unifies and unlocks data across digital touch points driving return on marketing investment.
This position will be responsible for working on the design and development of the next generation of our big data Hub platform working on technology that enables access to core of CRM efforts.
You should have a deep knowledge of distributed systems and cloud architecture. You will need extensive design and development experience and passion about working with large amounts of data.
JobDescription:
Your Impact:
- Implement the next version of our big data CRM platform
- Dexterously own balancing of production features Support feature delivery and retirement of technical debt
- Excited by building reliable selfhealing services with robust error handling
- Experience designing developing debugging and operating resilient distributed systems that run across hundreds of compute nodes in multiple data centers
- Capable of driving and delivering thin slices of endtoend functionality on a regular cadence with datadriven feedback loops
Required Skills / Experience:
- 5 years of software design and development experience
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field
- Strong programming skills (preferably in Python) with specific focus on parallel and multithreaded programming
- Experience with multitenant architectures (IaaS PaaS SaaS)
- Experience with building distributed systems and highly scalable web applications
- Experience building RESTful webservices Microservices
- Experience with Agile development methodology and TestDriven Development
- Experience with a variety of datastores (Kafka Postgresql Redis Memcached CouchDB).
Desired Skills / Experience:
- Experience with AWS OpenStack or Azure for scaling web and mobile application backend infrastructure
- Knowledge of opensource distributed automation frameworks (e.g. Docker Kubernetes Rundeck STAF/STAX Chef Puppet)
- Knowledge of Big Data technologies Spark Aerospike ElasticSearch)
