ShorterUniversity a NCAA Division II institution which competes in the Gulf SouthConference is currently accepting applicants for the position of Graduate Assistantto the Mens Lacrosse team. This position will be responsible for assisting theHead and Assistant Mens Lacrosse Coaches with sport specific coaching travellingwith the team equipment inventory control game preparation practicesstrength & conditioning programs and all other duties as assigned by theHead or Assistant Mens Lacrosse Coach. All activities shall be conductedwithin the policies and resource framework of the University the AthleticsDepartment the Gulf South Conference and the NCAA.
Mastersdegree options are: MBA MBA emphasis in Sports Management or Master of Management exchange for hours worked for the team the successful candidate will begiven free tuition for graduate courses subject to the Graduate AssistantshipGuidelines of the University.
Qualifications:
The successful candidatewill be guided by high morals and character that exemplify their Christianbeliefs in their everyday walk and possess a strong work ethic excellentcommunication skills and resilience to a fluid work schedule.
Previous experience inhigh school or university Mens Lacrosse as a coach and/or player is required.
Required: Bachelors degree from an accreditedinstitution and admission to the Shorter University Online Graduate Program.
Preferred: Bachelors degree in Business Administrationor Sports Management.
