On behalf of our client the Department of Foreign Affairs Trade and Development we are recruiting for a Programmer Analyst as part of a project to support the implementation of the Clarity PPM (CA PPM) solution for Global Affairs Canada by providing technical guidance configuration and technical support.
Deliverables will include:
Providing advice and hands on services to configure CA PPM;
Analyzing technology interoperability requirements and functionality;
Providing expert advice on and/or assisting in implementing new processes and organizational changes;
Validating and verifying documented business requirements and processes with project stakeholders (internal program staff external clients and technical personnel);
Resolving advanced application/platform support issues;
Solving complex enduser technical problems;
Serving as a user support liaison between vendors information systems technicians and end user departments
Providing training expertise and direction in emerging technology and special application support;
Emulating or reproducing technical problems encountered by users;
Providing advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties;
Recommending and implementing security requirements for Clarity PPM (CA PPM);
Providing business systems network and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties; and collecting organizing and maintaining a problem and solutions knowledgebased log for use by others.
Qualifications
Two 2 years of experience within the last five 5 years working as a programmer or supporting IT aspects of Clarity PPM within the Public Sector
Experience in at least 2 projects supporting and maintaining development test and production IM/IT environments in a government department or agency for a client(s) within the last five 5 years
Experience in version upgrading a CLARITY PPM (Portfolio Project Management) system.
Experience migrating CLARITY PPM data from a legacy system to a new system
Experience migrating from a cloud or on premises infrastructure
Experience installing configuring & patching CLARITY PPM.
Experience querying connecting & supporting CLARITY PPM MS SQL databases
Experience configuring and maintaining CLARITY PPM project dashboards & advanced reporting.
Must hold a CLARITY PPM Technical certification
Experience with Clarity PPM Administration (CSA) to start/stop services verify server health verify beacon services and distribute updates
