JOB SUMMARY:
- Oneonone support to individual students/families enrolled in the Redmond School District RSDFlex UnPlugged program. This program is a paperbased athome learning option for families utilizing grade level standardsbased curriculum in conjunction with a Redmond School District certified teacher who will provide weekly support. The teacher will meet with the student and learning coach (parent/guardian) each week. The teacher will analyze assessment data in order to help identify and support students progress towards gradelevel standards. Learning coach (parent/guardian) and advising teacher will work together to agree upon the meeting formats (inperson virtual phone). The learning coach will track and share their students progress in the a) curriculum b) iReady (math and reading) instruction and c) graded weekly assignments.
Description:
- Provide inperson virtual and phone support to student and learning coach (parent/guardian) weekly
- Prepare in advance for meeting with student and learning coach (parent/guardian) prior to each weekly meeting
- Administer and analyze a variety of data each week to help determine student progress towards gradelevel standards
- Communicate with student and learning coach each week including one scheduled synchronous meeting and ongoing email and or phone support. Best mode of communication to be determined in collaboration between teacher and athome learning coach
- Duties to be performed outside of regular RSD contracted hours
- Position allows for teacher to provide oneonone support to a maximum of 4 individual students at any given time.

COMPENSATION
- This is a stipendbased position. Pay is determined based on the range of hours worked according to the Extra Responsibility Salary Schedule. Hours are calculated assuming 2 hours per week per student (maximum 4 students) for the tutoring start date to the remainder of the school year.
