Job Details
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
AmerisourceBergen Services Corporation Design develop implement and maintain SAP applications to meet business requirements. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to analyze user needs and design solutions that align with the organizations goals. Develop and customize SAP applications using ABAP programming language. Design and implement enhancements customizations and interfaces within the SAP environment. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure the quality of developed solutions. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing SAP applications. Contribute to planning creating and implementing an IT vision and strategy aligned with the companys strategic business plan. Assist in the development of enterprise standards and technology initiatives. Work with SAP modules such as SD MM FI/CO and on ABAP development tools like Core ABAP Language Usage of BADIs BAPI and UserExits. Utilize S/4 ABAP and Jira. #LIDNI
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science Computer or Electronic Engineering Information Technology or a related technical field. Requires 5 years of progressive experience in an SAP Developer/Architect Application Developer Technical Architect or related IT position handling large systems with respect to new developments and performance tuning. Experience must include: Performing system upgrades and usages of upgrade steps in SAP using SPDD SPAU and SPAUENH; Engaging in reviews of new and existing code to meet business objectives; Developing technical solutions with a focus on performance tuning of existing code and writing new code; Working with SAP ABAP parallel processing techniques for code optimization; and utilizing SAP ABAP S/4 ABAP and Jira.
