Your role:
The provision of test substances in solution for their entry into the drug discovery process is the basis for an efficient hit finding and hit optimization. At our company this process is served by the Compound Distribution Hub (CDH) within the Compound Logistics & Bioassay Automation department. The broader objective of this expert position is twofold. First as an expert in lab automation you will maintain current equipment and contribute to further advance CDH workflows by implementing nextgeneration automation process for liquid handling systems. Second you will support laboratory logistics and requests using integrated workflows and automation devices.
As anAutomation Expert (all genders) for our Compound Distribution Hub you contribute to the maintenance design and effective implementation of liquid handling processes to flexibly respond to current and new projects requirements. You execute experimental work in the laboratory to deliver compounds to projects teams and reformat compound libraries using integrated workflows and automation devices. Furthermore you write protocols and provide weekly updates to the Lab Manager. You contribute to other tasks such as the organization of consumables and general lab logistics and you evaluate new automation solutions to further advance CDH workflows.
Who you are:

Handson experience with automated liquid handling platforms and LIMS systems is required.
The ability to responsibly and consistently complete daily tasks on time and flexibility to organize daily work are also key attributes
The ability to work in teams and to communicate efficiently.
