Patient Tech Surgical Inpatient
Night Shift 36 hours
The Johns Hopkins Hospital Surgical Inpatient/ IMC Unit (Zayed 11 West)is a 32bed surgical unit caring for adolescent and adult patients. The unit offers 3 levels of care: floor telemetry and 6 intermediate care beds. Care and services provided: Thoracic Surgery (lung resections pneumonectomy esophagectomy) Urology (RRP TURP) and variety of general surgery patients.
Clinical Techniciansat The Johns Hopkins Hospital have the opportunity to provide highly skilled and compassionate patient and familycentered care as contributing members of the healthcare team. Ongoing education is provided to all Clinical Technicians to ensure that all techs perform at the highest level of their certification and scope of practice. During your first year you will have the opportunity to attend eight days of training off the unit which provide interactive learning activities to support your personal and professional development.
