OnsiteAre you a handson problem solver with a passion for optimizing manufacturing and assembly processes Collins Aerospace is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with a Process Engineering background to support our Cheshire CT facility. In this role youll play a critical part in ensuring the efficient production of highly specialized electromechanical sensors and products by troubleshooting complex technical issues improving manufacturing processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Youll collaborate across teams to enhance yield quality cost and productivityleveraging cuttingedge technologies like laser welding digital Xray systems and plasma ashing to push the boundaries of aerospace manufacturing.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fastpaced production environment where youll apply your expertise in mechanical and electrical process engineering to develop tooling refine workflows transition new products into fullscale manufacturing and support automated testing.
