Operations Finance Manager Selling Partner Services

The Selling Partner Services (SPS) team is looking for a Finance Manager for the Customer Trust (CT) org. The SPS organization employees over 20000 employees who provide support to Amazons Selling Partners while also ensuring that we protect Amazon customers from bad actors. This team would focus on ensuring selling partners are complaint with regulations so we can identify and remove bad actors for entering Amazon. In this role you will be the central FP&A support across 7 directors. In addition to driving central reporting you will drive global crossteam decisions to help reduce costs acting as the trusted finance advisor for the organization on complex confidential projects while maintaining a high quality of service for Amazons Selling Partners and Customers.

About the team

Key job responsibilities
Act as a trusted advisor to the Business operation and product teams creating their goals and advising where they should be investing to drive automation productivity and other improvements across their organization
Drive standardization and automation of planning and reporting processes across several organizations
Analyze Opex variances vs. plan and provide insight to business partners including costsaving and process improvement recommendations
Partner with Senior Leaders (Senior Managers and Directors) in the business product and operations to tackle adhoc request like launching a new program making tradeoff decisions and driving conversations on Down Stream Impacts and Return on Investment.
Support internal customer groups in all finance matters including budgeting forecasting and financial controls
Drive process improvements to Invent & Simplify efforts across crossorg mechanisms


5 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
BA or BS in Finance Accounting Business Economics or a highly analytical field (e.g. Engineering Math Computer Science) and 5 years of finance experience or Masters degree and 3 years of finance experience

6 years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
6 years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models analysis and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g. financial savings operational improvements or customer benefits) experience
MBA or CPA
Knowledge of SQL/ETL
Experience working with largescale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)
Experience delivering forecasting budgeting and variance analysis and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
