This position requires that the candidate selected must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph. The position further requires the candidate to opt into a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.

You design and deliver technology solutions that solve difficult problems related to AI/ML service builds and operations primarily in ADC partitions and regions.
You identify and solve ambiguous problems architectural deficiencies or areas where systems hinder the innovation of other teams.
You improve the resiliency cost performance business or customer value of AI/ML systems you own enabling other builders through your work.
You collaborate with AI/ML service teams influencing them to meet shared goals and raise awareness of ADC constraints.
You contribute to technical project definition scoping and prioritization discussions for AI/ML initiatives working autonomously and seeking direction as needed.
You identify and mitigate extant risks in AI/ML systems you own improving engineering and operational processes within your team and other teams.
You understand and follow ADC policies for information handling access controls and compliance requirements within ADC partitions.
You foster a constructive dialogue with AI/ML customers and partner teams clearly communicating and seeking professional resolutions.
You participate in mentoring efforts and lead reviews of architecture design operations and processes for your AI/ML team.
A day in the life
Engineers in this role will work on automation development and operations to support AWS AI/ML services for US government customers in isolated airgapped cloud environments. They will work in an agile environment attend daily standup and collaborate closely with AI/ML teammates. They will work on exciting challenges at scale and tackle unsolved problems. They will support the U.S. Intelligence Community and Defense agencies to implement innovative AI/ML solutions and solve unique technical problems.
