The Role: As Technical Program Manager (TPM) for the Safety team you will lead internal and external engineering teams through the product phases and drive deepdive investigations into complex issues. You will spearhead crossfunctional hardware teams through rigorous investigations identify root causes and ensure development teams implement effective solutions. You will be responsible for uncovering patterns and correlations by analyzing data test results and technical information. This role will involve reporting critical issues to senior leadership gaining executive approval and maintaining visibility across the organization.


Key job responsibilities
Lead crossfunctional teams in rigorous investigations to uncover the root causes of complex hardware issues. Manage project teams globally.
Analyze data test results and technical information to identify underlying patterns and correlations diving deep into previous issues and emerging with actionable insights.
Collaborate with engineering teams to replicate and debug issues leveraging advanced troubleshooting techniques.
Lead leadership reviews and present status to the executive team following effective escalation processes to ensure resolution of critical issues.
Identify opportunities for process optimization and drive continuous improvement initiatives showcasing a willingness to continuously improve processes.
Develop and implement scalable processes and tools to streamline issue management and reporting leading initiatives to build efficient tools and systems.
Foster crossfunctional collaboration and ensure seamless communication among stakeholders.

5 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
2 years of technical product or program management experience
2 years of software development experience
3 years of project management disciplines including scope schedule budget quality along with risk and critical path management experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams building processes and coordinating release schedules

3 years of working directly with engineering teams experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $197800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
