What will you do
The primary objective of this role is to technically support the sales team both in presales and postsale activities and to feed back current market and customer information to the responsible business units. Silicon Labs IoT products include multiprotocol wireless SoCs 32bit ARM Cortexbased MCUs and 8bit 8051 MCUs. Our Wireless portfolio supports applications like Bluetooth Zigbee Matter WIFI but also proprietary wireless stacks. Our devices mainly focus IOT end devices like light bulbs sensors water meters just to name some.

- Provide technical support to key accounts customers as well as channel partners customers.
- Provide technical support in all phases of the designin process as well as to gain the designwin.
- Assist the sales team to carry out presales promotion customer training demo board building technical product presentation troubleshoot in field software programming write up applications note conduct workshop etc.
- Work closely with Product Marketing and related Business Units to provide update feedback or information in the respective specialty areas
- Work in a FAE support team covering South Europe
Skills & AbilitiesYou will need:
- Engineer in embedded electronics or in embedded software
- 3 years of industry experience
- Strong embedded C programming experience
- Ability to understand not only chip & board level but system level design
- Experience in bluetooth Low Energy and Zigbee/Matter is a great plus
- Familiarity with microcontrollers design is a plus
- Familiarity with RF design is a plus
- Language skills: Italian native English fluent. Spanish fluent is a plus
- Must be autonomous
- Frequent travels in Italy but potentially in all South Europe
