Remuneration: $54.54 $58.44phr 11.5 Super Not for Profit Salary Packaging Penalties & Allowances. Relocation Support Considered by negotiation.

Your part in St Stephens Hospital Team:

With five Operating Theatres we provide a range of inpatient surgical services including Bariatric Ear Nose and Throat Endoscopy Gynaecology Maxillofacial Ophthalmology Orthopaedic Plastic and Reconstructive Urological Vascularand General Surgery including Colorectal Laparoscopic Breast and Gastrointestinal surgery.

As part of our Theatres Team (Anaesthetics/PACU/Periop/Scrub Scout) you will provide exceptional patient care in the areas of your clinical expertise whilst assessing and responding appropriately to clinical nursing issues and concerns. Providing supervision and guidance within a multidisciplinary team through effective decision making and support you will lead by example through exceptional communication customer service and patient advocacy.

What Makes a difference for Us:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Anaesthetics and/or General Surgery Ophthalmology Essential
  • Bachelor of Nursing Degree or equivalent
  • Current AHPRA practicing certificate
  • Demonstrated ability to provide leadership support and mentorship
  • An ability to coordinate and priortise your wards clinical load
  • Adaptability and resilience in busy clinically complex environment
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster including all shifts
  • A commitment toward the mission of UnitingCare Hospitals and the attainment of the goals of the Nursing Division.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health and Safety practices.
  • Prepared to comply with and uphold the terms and conditions of employment for nursing staff as per the relevant UnitingCare Health Enterprise Agreement.
  • Comply with the UnitingCare Code of Conduct.
